PXE!

Was fortunate enough to meet and hang out with PXE! She is a model based in Philly and came out to shoot with Lonestar Damsels while we were in W. Virginia. She is probably one of the most adorable girls I have ever seen and so much fun to be around. Plus, her name totally fits her! She fluttered around the house like a little pixie fairy all weekend! I joined her the best I could and we around around like little girls at a slumber party. Not only did she have me laughing at her silly quirks all weekend, she also had me in awe of her beauty. She is super silly but also very beautiful and I enjoyed snapping a few shots of her myself! I hope we cross paths again soon :)

Lonestar girls in West Virginia

About once every two months, I fly to Dallas to work with Lonestar Damsels as a bondage / superheroine model, mostly playing the role of Batgirl and recreating scenes from the classic Batman show. I love working with Lonestar and the group of Dallas girls that usually work with him. We've all been working together for almost 4 years now. It's surprising how fast time has flown!

As a special treat this year, Lonestar flew all of us girls out to W. Virginia so we could work another producer. Now, I'm used to traveling...but the other girls aren't. This was a big treat for them and a lot of fun for me to have so many travel buddies!

We had a blast together! We all stayed in a nice big house out in the middle of nowhere that was surrounded with wild happy birds and deer every morning. Every time I looked out the window I saw some kind of cute adorable creature. Even though it was too cold for me to go outside, the land around the house seemed magical and it was a nice change from staying and shooting in a hotel.

One night we went to one of those Asian restaurants where they cook the food in front of you ...boy did we make a ruckus! Our cook was hilarious and had all of us falling out of our chairs with laughter all night!!! He kept doing fun tricks with the cooking utensils and food, throwing them up in the air, twirling them about all while making awesome jokes. He even got pretty dirty with the jokes and made several about the creamy white yum yum sauce he served us. With industry we are in, it was great to have some one keep up with our filthy minds! We were definitely the loudest group there and were having more fun than anyone expected to be having. We were literally falling out of our chairs with laughter. I'm sure the never ending bottles of Saki and Sapparo added some help! The cook was even doing shots of saki with us! He'd poor Lonestar a shot, then take one himself. Poor Lonestar another, then take two himself. It was awesome! Lonestar would have never ordered saki for himself so it was great that the cook got him caught up with us! We rarely get him drinking with us like that! Best cook ever! I have no idea why this guy is in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere West Virginia. He needs to be in NYC or LA!

The Tucson Gem Show

Kordelia Devonshire and Derek Synklaire, some of my closest girlfriends that I have met through modeling, came to Tucson for a few days for the Gem Show. This is a huge event for Tucson that lasts almost a month. Vendors and wholesalers of gem and minerals come from all over the country and various parts of the world. It is a major boost the for the city's economy, but it leads to way more traffic . I try to avoid driving this time of year. It's worse then Christmas!

Kordi and Derek ran around the exhibits like kids in a candy store. They are really into the energy of the gem and minerals and were fascinated with everything! It was a lot of fun to go with them. They filled me full of all kinds of info about various stones...what kind of energy they hold, the mood they can put you in, their healing powers... it was neat! Kordi had me pick up a variety of stones with my eyes closed and hold them for a moment. She asked if I could feel anything from them, or if I was drawn to hold any one stone over the others. I didn't really "feel" anything, but I did like holding stones that were green more than other kind of stone. This was interesting because by looks, I tend to go for the pink stones. My boyfriend even kept picking up the pretty pink ones to show them to me, knowing I'd like them. But after Kordi's lil' experiment, I attempted let go of what I thought looked pretty and looked for stones I liked to feel and hold. Strangely enough I ended up picking up green stones more often.
